I am an odd person. I love books, break out into dance randomly, and gesture wildly when I speak with friends.

PIGEONS in my Life (December)

As I was walking to lunch with a friend I saw the most amazing PIGEON. Its body was white, it had to stripes on each wing in a faded rust color, and its head and neck were silver. I have never seen a silver PIGEON. Silver happens to be a favorite color of mine so I feel instantly in love with this PIGEON. When I told a friend about this PIGEON she decided it was a GOD PIGEON, she also decided it breathes lasers. So tremble in fear all you mortals I have seen the glory that is the LASER BREATHING GOD PIGEON.
My friend and follower The Idiosyncrat saw a white pigeon with a silver neck. This sounds a lot like the LAZER BREATHING GOD PIGEON except that he had a silver head and neck. So I have decided that my friend has beheld the wonder of the LAZER BREATHING DEMIGOD PIGEON.

PIGEON of December

Hey everyone ready for more PIGEON madness. You know I am. To prove to the nonbelievers just how many different species of PIGEON there are I have decided to pick a favorite species every month. That should keep me busy for a while.
Okay for the month of December I choose the ICE PIGEON. Unlike most PIGEONS the ICE PIGEON'S head, neck, and body are the same color. ICE PIGEONS come in spangled, barred, and barless patterns.

PIGEONS in my Life (November)

I love PIGEONS and so I have decided to make a post in their honor and write of all the wonderful times I have with PIGEONS.There are many different species of PIGEON but it is the common city variety that I love the most.
First I shall explain why I love PIGEONS. PIGEONS come in an innumerable variety of colors and patterns. They can be striped or spotted with different shiny colors on their necks. Now this color variety can be found in many animals but the PIGEON is so unappreciated. The PIGEON is widely considered to be a common bird and often a pest. It so amazed me when I found that this overlooked and ill favored bird could be so interesting.
Some time after I conceived of this slightly irrational love of PIGEONS my family and I went to Venice. For those of you who don't know Venice is teeming with waterfront property, overpriced gondolas, and PIGEONS. This is when I realized the depths of my devotion to the PIGEON. I loved to watch them, would often throw them food in order to attract a flock closer. The sheer number of PIGEONS was staggering and they all looked so pretty. This was a very happy time for me.
My brother, who had just spent a semester abroad in Italy, showed me a picture of his friend being attacked by a giant flock of PIGEONS.The friend had purchased 2 bags of bird food then gone to the central square. He then proceeded to throw up both bags filling the air with seeds. The flock of PIGEONS mobbed him. Hundreds of PIGEONS all flying at him. The friend threw his arms over his head and ran away from the descending hoard.
Later my mother, knowing full well the depth of my insanity, decided to feed my obsession by sending me a picture of a PIGEON with rings of different colors on its body. Oh the wonder that is COLOR GOD PIGEON.
